Company origins

Ghost Note Audio is a small, independent manufacturer of musical equipment and software based in West Sussex, England. Founded in 2023, the company was born out of more than two decades of hands-on experimentation with audio hardware and software.

What began as personal exploration - building tools to solve real problems in the founder’s own music-making process - naturally evolved into something more. Each product started life as an experiment, designed to fulfil a personal need, built because it didn’t exist in the form it should. Over time, it became clear that these needs were shared by many, and that other musicians were looking for the same practical, thoughtful solutions.

Ghost Note Audio exists to turn those ideas into real, accessible products. The brand continues to be guided by a personal, musician-first vision - designing tools that are inspiring to use, purposeful in design, and valuable to the people who rely on them.

A defining part of Ghost Note Audio’s identity is questioning tradition and commonly accepted beliefs as facts. Our design philosophy is rooted in a simple idea: if you can’t measure it, it’s not important. Engineering merit and measurable performance take priority over convention, tradition, and hype. Decisions are guided by data, repeatability, and real-world facts - always in service of making better tools for musicians.

 

Mission & Vision

Ghost Note Audio’s continued mission is to identify and fill overlooked gaps in the market - creating products musicians genuinely need but struggle to find. We focus on delivering these solutions at an accessible price point, without compromising on quality or reliability.

We continue to refine existing products, improving them, and releasing free updates when possible. Our aim is to build a brand and identity that is known for quality and reliability.
